Reaching New Audiences

In 2016, Tara was selected to a present a segment on the Royal Opera House’s Facebook channel, ahead of the global event progamme, World Ballet Day. This annual event showcases a day in the life of the World’s top ballet companies and Tara presented a 10 minute section on what makes the Royal Ballet unique. This was done via live stream and broadcast worldwide on Facebook Live. The video which is still available on Facebook has received over 588,000 views and over 5,000 likes. It can be viewed here

Since then, Tara has developed a keen interest in developing her own channel on YouTube where she plans to upload videos of her life as a dancer with the Royal Ballet, documenting her pregnancy as a ballerina, fitness and nutritional advice and more.

In addition, Tara is also working with the Royal Opera house and the Royal Ballet to develop her own idea to bring ballet education to a wider audience via social media. This project is currently in production and will hopefully be available to view via YouTube later in 2017.
